Can I buy Taruya products in my country?

We are sorry. We do not sell our products in real stores outside of Japan.
Customers outside of Japan can only purchase our products through this online shopping site.

How do I setup Taruya cartridges?

The setup process for Taruya cartridges is the same as for other brands. Please watch the video below where the CEO, who is also the developer of Taruya cartridges, gives a detailed explanation of the cartridge setup.
How to set up Taruya cartridges.

What is the recommended tracking force for Taruya cartridges?

The recommended tracking force for Taruya cartridges is between 3.5 grams and 4.0 grams.

What is the life expectancy of a Taruya cartridge stylus?

Synthetic diamond nibs typically have a life expectancy of approximately 200 hours. This is true not only for Taruya cartridges, but also for cartridges from other brands. The 200-hour stylus life is based on regular use. After approximately 200 hours of use, you may notice a gradual degradation in sound quality, but it won't make the stylus unusable. However, stylus life can vary significantly depending on the user's playing style. If you engage in DJing or scratching, the lifespan may be shorter.

Which cartridge is best for me?

The choice of Taruya cartridge depends on whether you are into hard scratching or not. The 01M Red Cartridge and the 05M-2 New Black Cartridge are not suitable for intense scratching, but they work well for simple scratching. If you primarily mix at home and want a versatile option, I recommend the 01M Red cartridge and the 05M-2 New Black cartridge. If you're a professional DJ and want to minimize cartridge skips during scratching or live performances, I recommend the 03M White cartridge, the 08M Black cartridge, and the 01M-S Blue cartridge.

Can I use the DVS-exclusive FPC07M Silver cartridge for playing regular analog records?

The FPC07M Silver cartridge is designed specifically to read the control signal of DVS control vinyl. However, it can also be used for playing regular analog records. Keep in mind that compared to Taruya's other products designed exclusively for regular analog records, the sound quality may be inferior.

I have found Taruya cartridges for sale on Ebay and Amazon. Are these cartridges genuine? Is it safe to buy them?

We cannot guarantee the authenticity of products sold by third-party sellers, and we have not authorized any sales on Ebay or Amazon. Therefore, we cannot provide support for products purchased on these platforms.
